Thorne in my side

I seem to notice inconsistencies a lot when I watch TV or go to see a movie. Sometimes they are big "mistakes" and other times they are just little subtle things that should have been caught.

For instance, take the premier of Hawthorne (Jada Pinkett Smith's new show). I loved it but I was kind of bugged by this niggling issue...Hannah Hudson who plays Christina's (Jada's) daughter Camille in the show clearly looks African American which is fine even though Christina was married to a Caucasian man. However, and here is the issue, Ms. Hudson has dark Brown eyes while Jada has those (killer) light colored eyes. What would be the chance of this in real life if she were really married to a white man? I am not a geneticist but that doesn't make sense. I don't want the character replaced. I'm just making a point.

What about the doctor that slept at the nurses station in plain site the entire episode, does that really happen at a hospital? I'd hope not!

These little things show that someone is not paying attention. If I see it why isn't it caught before the final edit? Oh, well, that's just my 2 cents.
